Are you interested in joining or learning more about the Strzalkowski Lab? Please get in touch at: nstrzalkowski@mtroyal.ca
Successful research students are curious, motivated, and have strong time-management skills. No prior research experience is required or expected. This is a training-focused research environment. Students from diverse backgrounds and at all stages of their degree are encouraged to reach out.
For Mount Royal University undergraduates, there are several pathways into the lab. The most common route is through undergraduate research courses, including BIOL 4299 (Directed Readings), BIOL 5201/5202 (Independent Research), and BIOL 5501/5502 (Biology Honours). These courses require an above-average level of commitment and effort.
Students who gain experience through these courses may also be eligible for paid full- or part-time research positions during the spring and summer.
A great way to get introduced to sensorimotor physiology research is to volunteer as a research participant.
If you are curious about ongoing projects, please see the Research & Scholarship page.
